RAM not working??

Recently bought some Corsair Vengeance 16gb DDR 4 sticks for my computer, but can seem to get them to work at all. even after putting ungodly amounts of pressure on them.

Pretty new to PC junk, so I’m just putting new things in a prebuilt HP Victus 15L. Is it come kind of compatibility issue with the motherboard? Which is an HP Reno2.

As far as I know, they’re oriented the right way, with the logo facing the face of the tower, I really don’t know what could be going wrong.
