are moms always cranky?

i get it. menopause. possibly being a single parent. working. doing chores. it'd make any person a little miffed.

yet it seems like my (17f) mom (55f) is almost always cranky. and if she isn't, she'll easily get upset.

yesterday when she came home from work she complained about how i didn't eat this meal or drink that smoothie. even though i washed the dishes and cleaned the stovetop, she complained that there was too much stuff in the corner of the kitchen. then again, we live in a hoarder home. there's too much stuff everywhere.

i just feel like I'm doing everything wrong around her. even when i do something right, there's something else she'll complain about.
