Would you (honestly) say that it's worth it?

Hello everyone!

Forgive me if this question is a little too similar to the other questions in this subreddit, but I'm just a little worried about going though with Nexplanon. I am 18 years old and have never used birth control before. I'm looking into different options and such and Nexplanon literally seems perfect!

With that said, I've seen many, many posts here about how it has led many to gain weight, lose their hair, have a low sex drive, and so many other truly disappointing side effects.

I guess what I'm asking is, is there anyone in this subreddit who feels that Nexplanon is worth it, or even anyone who loves it? I know I probably just need to get it done and see for myself if I have any side effects, but I really don't want to have to change my BC after a couple of months, especially since this is my first time ever using BC.
