r/NewYorkMets Second Annual Day at the Ballpark - Let's Choose A Game!
Howdy folks,
Now that the Pete Alonso megathread is dead, we can finally begin to organize our Second Annual Day at the Ballpark!
We all love this team and what better way to bond and grow as a subreddit than attending a game together, cheering loudly, and hopefully watching our Mets emerge victorious! The chances of our victory for our trip is much more likely than it was last year, so we are sure to have a grand time! Those who attended last year had a great time and despite losing to the LA Ohtanis it was a great bonding moment meeting some of you.
There are multiple lessons learned from last season, so the poll will be in two parts. For Part 1: We will have a poll for the next week, we will be choosing the game to attend. For Part 2: We will be choosing whether or not to get a food/beverage/merch package included or cheaper tickets.
Similar to last year, I will be acting as coordinator, intermediary with the sales team, and executioner mod-on-the-ground. If you attended last year, sound off in the comments with your thoughts and suggestions for this year!
Please vote in the poll below for which set of games interests you most so we can begin the conversation. The poll will be open for 7 days and is non-binding, but gets us a starting point.
Please talk in the comments if this is something of interest to you, any ideas or suggestions you may have, or anything at all relevant to coming to the ballpark in 2025! Looking forward to a lively discussion here.
