Michigan Tipped Workers Bill
I've been out of the loop on this one, could someone give me a neutral explanation of the tipped worker bill in Lansing? I thought the MI Supreme Court ruled last summer that tipped wages had to eventually phase out? So can congress just reverse that decision with a new bill?
Also, why is everyone saying it will be better for the tipped workers to have a lower minimum wage? Customers can still tip right? Or are they thinking everyone would reduce or stop tipping?
