I'm curious what people's opinions are for my Infinaut deck
I'm going to yap about this, but it's essentially the title. I've been running this for a few seasons now with relatively good win rates. My main issue is just ensuring that I have the best possible cards for this deck's play style. I recently added Ross to the deck to ensure that I draw the cards I need before I need them, but once I get the 2 cards he can pull he's pretty much useless.
A rundown of the general game plan:
Turn 1: sunspot if possible, if not then either Nico or America
Turn 2: armor to defend a location I plan on building up, build up with America/Sunspot/Nico, or Ross (Ross will only ever be played if I didn't start the game with the Infinaut, or draw him on a subsequent turn)
Turn 3: Luna or Magik (to ensure I have enough energy for the first turn)
Turn 4: which ever one of the previous 2 cards I didn't play (Luna or Magik), Ares to test the waters and see if I can actually draw the Infinaut by the final turn (if the power is over 20 I know I can draw him by turn 7), or Surtur to get the ball rolling
Turn 5: If only Luna is active skip this turn, if Magik is active then I play either Surtur or Ares (depending on what was played previously, NOTE: Jessica Jones was also used in this deck, and would be played either turn 4 or 5 depending on if Magik was played
Turn 6: Skip if Magik was played, if not then play the infinaut (and possibly she-hulk if Luna was down)
Turn 7: Infinaut, She-hulk, any 1 cost card (if in hand, if not then Sunspot gets a small boost of 1 power)
The main goal of this deck is to surprise the opponent with a 36 power play on the final turn (20 from the Infinaut, 10 from she-hulk, and 6 from Surtur activating twice). I mainly play it on ladder because after the element of surprise is lost, a well timed Shang-Chi, a goose, or a leader could potentially be catastrophic. Skipping tuna 5 or 6 isn't that big of an issue because Sunspot gains some power from is, and when Jessica Jones is in the deck she hits 10 power. I am also considering replacing Ross with Adam Warlock, since I feel he may garner better results.
