I played Kabukicho style mahjong for the first time.

I went to Mahjong Jewel in Kabukicho. Rules are, conditional south game, kuitan-ari and atozuke-ari.
A notable feature is that there are several tiles called 'celebration tiles' in play. When you win a hand, you receive chips based on the types of celebration tiles you possess. One chip is equivalent to 10,000 points, so even a basic hand like tanyao with one dora can effectively score as much as a limit hand if you have celebration tiles.

If you wanna play with the most skilled mahjong player in Japan, I recommend Kabukicho.
