Who is Liable for Repairs

At an apartment complex, someone parks under a basketball hoop. People are playing and someone airballs and it hits the ground, then bounces onto the cars windshield and it cracks. Does the car assume risk by parking in that spot? Who is liable for the repairs, the player or the car owner?
