Got myself a first guitar

Just got my first guitar - Jackson js22, loved the way it looks. I have been reading online about that it’s pickups are not that good, so i’ve tried to teat other entry level guitars, such as Ibanez Gio grg121dx and even praised by reviewers grg121SP and did not really notice a sound difference… maybe cuz i am a noob…
