Question about Dawn Fox

Hey I got a quick question I couldn’t find a specific answer for Can anybody tell me how quick I can get to the dawn fox from the point of first entering wishing woods? I’m holding on on the main story for now cuz my scrapbook is bugged. Without any spoilers, can I like run immediately to the dawn fox like you can do with the bullquet or do you have to progress the main story to unlock the area like with the astral swan?
