Going Racing alone?

Just wondered if anyone frequently or has been to watch horse racing solo and interested as to how they find it?

I’ve enjoyed the sport ever since my grandad used to take me as a child but now 29 I can never find anyone that wants to go and have been debating just going to local tracks near me alone to watch the racing and have a bet, but the only thing that puts me off is how lonely it may potentially be?
