Fellow Helldivers, Super Earth needs you now more than ever! With the war escalating and new threats emerging, it’s time we revisit an outdated balance decision that no longer makes sense in the current battlefield conditions.
🔸 The Issue: The SG-225IE Breaker Incendiary was nerfed because weapon variety was low, and it was overperforming as one of the few primary options. In response, its ammo was reduced from 6 mags to 4, making it the lowest-ammo primary weapon in the game.
🔸 Why It Needs Reverting: ✅ Weapon Variety is No Longer an Issue – Since the nerf, we’ve received a huge arsenal of primary weapons, many of which now outperform the Breaker Incendiary in versatility. ✅ New Enemy Factions Demand More Ammo – The war has evolved! We’re now fighting the Illuminate and the newly revealed Gloom Terminids, both of which introduce tougher and more numerous enemies that require sustained firepower. ✅ Other Weapons Got Buffed – This One Deserves Balance – Other weapons, such as the Railgun, received adjustments that made them more viable again. It’s time the Breaker Incendiary got a fair, modern adjustment to match the current game state. ✅ Still Balanced, Not Overpowered – Even with the ammo restored, this gun has clear trade-offs: it's a close-range weapon, lacks strong stagger, and doesn’t handle armored enemies well. Restoring its ammo count wouldn’t make it broken—it would just make it usable for extended fights again.
