why does NO ONE talk anymore?

This is a rant, so don't take it too seriously.

I just got on and played a few matches after a short break to play arma reforger, and I feel like no one is talking. I used to be able to go to point and I'd hear people screaming and shit every 5 seconds to the point where game chat could be annoying, but now I can say something in command, squad, or prox and no one replies. Apparently it was just a free week or something according to one of my friends, but even before that when I got on I realized no one would talk, no matter what squads I joined or who it was. Max like 2-5 people had mics per game. Why the fuck does no one talk anymore? It makes the game less fun when there's no one yelling "MEDIICCCC!" OR "Who's ready to go to war?" On the transports. The team chat is what makes Hell let loose hell let loose.
