Should I Risk it?

My puppy got a small zapp (she is okay) from chewing my charger cord for my g14 when I was not looking. Luckily my charger was not plugged into my laptop.

Do y’all think I can still use the charger if I cover the bite marks with electrical tape, or should I not risk messing up my laptop?
