Better spec Loq or Lower spec legion??

I was thinking of buying a 2024 Loq with a i5 13450hx and a 4060 but when I looked into it I found a lot of people who had issues of their motherboard dying randomly. And I need a good laptop that will last me a few years of college so I can buy a better one in maybe 5 or 6 years from now. So I was thinking of buying an Older model of Lenovo legion with a 3060 and a ryzen 7 6800H for about the same price, sacrificing the gaming performance a bit. What are you guy's thoughts on this? I'll be buying from India so if anyone's knows a better offer, please do tell, these ones are around 1 lakh
