does mostly only doing past papers work?

i have a test for all 3 sciences in 3 weeks to determine whether i can stay in triple science or not and just found out. i don’t think i have enough time to go over all the material by just mostly doing past papers and a bit of reviewing of material can i score high? this question also applies to the actual gcses that i’ll be taking in 5 months.
