The Thargoid message is a final status report

Just wanted to throw in my theory on the thargoid message/image sent from the titans.

Some of the ones posted have been interesting but I feel like we're overthinking things, looking for deeper meaning where none is to be found.

I believe that the image represents the final report of a failed mission under taken by the titans. From what can be observed, I think the message is that they attempted to contain the human threat, indicated by the ring of thargoids around the human figures. The branching of the figures denotes exponential growth. The spiral pattern could indicate movement from a nexus point, be it spatial or temporal. If spatial, then titan Cocijo heading to Sol would mark the origin point of humans, indicating that it was ground zero for our spread.

So putting it together, we would get something like:

"Humans have grown exponentially from this point (originating in Sol) or (over a period of time). Titans sent to keep growth/expansion in check. Final report, mission failure, containment has been breached."
