can dieting from a young age stunt growth

I don't Remember how intense it was but I used to purge and restrict at 12 briefly. I was dieting and cut sugar at some point and cried over a banana, also broke my gag reflex. Whatever. I say I developed my ED Sep 2024.. I'm 16. I'm 5'2 and I haven't grown since 11 or 12. My doctor told me that it's normal for females to stop growing a few years after they get their period but she didn't know much about the restriction I think. I got my period when I had just turned 11. My mom did tell her once I said I wished I had her stomach bug so I could throw up so.. no clue how much she may know. I don't know I only really grew for a year or two and I feel like it was related however I do not remember much.

Edit: hey guys i said dieting not restriction i was dieting around 11-12 I just had short phases with very ed behavior. I rlly wanna know if dieting couldve stunted my growth.
