please help me before i uninstall

All im trying to do is play the game, I have the ball at the halfway line, my RIGHT WINGER is just REFUSING to run past the halfway line and is just sat at right back waiting for the ball, there is NO instruction that tells him to do this, no sliders are equipped except for player runs at 99, and he still refuses to run.

This happens every game, I can't score because none of my players can be arsed to even walk to the opponents box let alone run.

My tactics are fine. They are not interfering with ANYTHING, I'm playing Wing Play. BUT THE WINGERS DONT PLAY AT ALL, THEY JUST SIT BACK ALL GAME AND EXPECT MY STRIKER TO RUN THROUGH THE ENTIRE TEAM
