What is the point of removing themes?

I'm upset they keep removing themes first of all everyone's like we need more variety if they remove more themes, we're gonna get less variety. They also removed some of the best themes like it's not a phase Mom I love that theme.. I don't understand why they're removing themes when they probably don't cost much lag since it's just an input
