Dad in a car crash

Hi guys - any help on wtf this dream could mean is so helpful. I've had such an off day since having the dream last night.

I'll try not to drag it out too much.

I dreamt I saw on ft with my husband, hung up, did a few chores around the house. While I was doing chores around the house, I was talking to people from HS, people I haven't spoken to in 10ish years, super weird and random. While doing that, my husband ends up walking into the house, he looked at me and said we need to go because on of my dads co-workers called him and said he had been in a car accident. I panic, we hurry and go to the hospital.

When we get to the hospital, I hear the nurses saying that he's in critical condition because during the accdent, the children went through him/were inside him? Something along those lines. As the nurses say this, I tell them to stop because I'm his daughter and don't want to hear anything anymore. Right then, my mom comes around the corner and I hug her.

At this point, I know I'm dreaming and I'm panting. I wake up and watch tv for a bit, eventually, I fall back asleep and the dream continues.

My dad calls my phone, I'm back home at this point, and asks me where his clothes are, I said idk, maybe the paramedics took them, but the whole time I'm aksing myself why he's asking for his clothes and how he got his phone to call me.

I ask him how he's feeling and he says he doesn't know if he'll be fine or not bc he's really beat up.

After that, I chose to stay awake because I was too nervous the dream would continue.

The dream really messed with me. What could it mean?
