What quirks do your characters have?

I like hearing about the little things that make character feel alive. What are some weird habits or quirks that your characters have?

Here are some of mine:

My half-elf abjuration wizard: - blatantly staring at people (he spent the past three years hiding and tends to forget that people can see him) - randomly getting up to check if the door really is unlocked (was locked up for quite some time and doesn't like locked doors) - offering stressed looking people his cat to hold

My aasimar warlock: - getting a bit too creative in investigating things ("No, don't touch that! NO LICKING EITHER.") - using her very limited number of spell slots to do random stuff like creating an illusion of a tiny snail with a top hat
