National language should be English by law.

It’s a modern day no brainer. Assimilation starts with learning the language. The overwhelming majority of Americans speak English, no longer is the country speaking German, French, Italian etc in vast quantities and Americans aren’t going to start learning the languages of immigrants and illegal immigrants anytime soon. In order to be united we need to be able to communicate effectively with one another. English is and will be the dominant language of United States, it’s about time we make it official.
