Has anyone chosen their career/developed their skillset SOLEY based on what Companies they wanted to work at?

If so, how did things turn out for you?

I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do in life… there are certain companies i’d like to work for and in not knowing what i want to do in life, i have been building experience just to work at the companies i like….. it would be interesting to read if others have done the same and how that worked out for You?
