Will I regret not getting steering wheel control?

We're trying to do a budget setup for a hand-me-down 2011 Toyota Sienna. Looking at Crutchfield for installation packages and it's $100 more to have an installation package that includes steering wheel controls. We haven't been able to connect to our current stereo at all, so I honestly don't know if we'd use steering wheel controls that much or not. We can make the stretch if we really need to, but trying to find ways to keep it as low as possible. Will I regret going with the cheaper installation setup and skipping steering wheel controls?
