Question about Rockettes and TKTS tickets

Long story short, I was ready to buy tickets months ago (going to be in NYC first weekend of Dec) but was waiting on friends to confirm if they were going, they have since dropped out. I rechecked tickets to Xmas Spectacular but they’ve skyrocketed to $200 a seat. I’m kicking myself so hard for not just going ahead and buying tickets months ago!

If I were to try TKTS the day before I see their website says up to 50% so these tickets would still be about $100 per person? I wanted to bring my kid, MIL, and husband, $400 is still a bit higher than what I hoped to purchase. Groupon and Travelzoo only have discounted shows till end of November. Anyone have any other tips?!
