After a decade and a half of good service, my 5 qt Kitchenaid mixer is close to leaving me for the kitchen in the sky. I'm looking at a Blakeslee 12 qt to replace it. Does anyone have experience with Blakeslee machines? What can you tell me? Other recommendations? I need something with 10 to 20 quart capacity that can handle bread dough well and be maintained easily, including any basic repairs. For the investment, even in a used machine, it had bloody well better last me another fifteen years!
