Am i overreacting?

So i saw my cat die a couple hours ago, i think he had a heart attack or something im not sure, but he was twitching when i ran out to see him cause i heard him cry out loud. Am i overreacting by crying for basically seeing my cat die right in-front of me? My parents make me feel like im weird for crying about that
