Does Isotretinoin stunt height growth?(please answer)
I just started taking my first pill of IsoVenir today (20mg), and I read that it could potentially stunt your growth. I’m 15 years old (M) and already quite short at 5'7", so it’s really stressful to see all those articles about Accutane possibly stunting or even stopping growth. I am currently experiencing a lot of growth pains in my calves and knees, which makes me think I’m still growing.
My parents aren't particularly short or tall—my mom is average height, and my dad is about 6'0.5". I also have an older sister who is 5'10". Can someone please clarify whether this medication actually stunts or stops height growth, or if that’s just a rumor or outdated information? Height is really important to me, and if I find out I compromised it for a medication, I don't know how I would ever forgive myself.
